New addition to the BynumPhoto Team

I bet you were expecting a person...ha ha. My trusty 20D caught the "spastic shutter" disease at the end of Landon's Birthday Party on Saturday afternoon. I started thinking about it, and I am certain that there are well over 150,000 clicks on this camera in the two years I have owned it, and so it's about time for a major repair. We'll see just how much the repair will be...if it is a significant investment, we'll be purchasing a 30D to add to the backup arsenal, instead of demoting the 20D.

I get a lot of questions regarding my choices for camera equipment and also where I go to do it. I have always been very satisfied with Canon cameras, lenses and flash units. When I buy online, I order from B & H Photo, a very reputable dealership in New York. When I buy locally, I go to Dury's in downtown Nashville. They are working hard to keep their prices competitive with online dealers like B&H - and you get their excellent personal customer service AND the ability to try out equipment in the store before you make a purchase. We were in there today to ship out my 20D for repairs, and my brain went into sensory overload the moment I walked in the door.
