Where Are You?
It cracks me up at the amount of email and phone messages I racked up in two days, and how many of them said "Alison, where are you???" I am usually SO fast at responding to emails and phone calls because I am working in front of my computer all day. I spent the last two days working with Andrew Niesen of LaCour at David Lipscomb University here in Nashville. Andrew was shooting around campus for the new viewbook and other admissions materials and I assisted him with his equipment (I know you're laughing since I have a broken wrist) and setting his light, etc.
It was really fun and I learned a lot just by watching another professional work. He has great interactions with his clients, and the students and administrators all felt very comfortable with him. The images I saw him create were amazing. And, I got a great workout because we definitely did not travel light. We had lots of extra gear in comparison to what I use when shooting a wedding.
So to answer your question, that's where I have been the past two days. Sadly, I have NO pictures to share because I had way too much to do to try and carry an extra camera along, but you'll just have to trust me when I say it was fun.
